DARIUS MAYFIELD
Darius Mayfield, former Congressional candidate in New Jersey’s 12th District has a journeyed past that brings him to this pivotal point in today’s political landscape. Bringing his fervor of people and doing right by them, is one of the major reasons why he chose to run for office and now start a consulting company. His motto of “Not Black. Not White. American.” is more than a belief but a way of life; placing collective goals of citizens and residents ahead of special interest groups. He is a self-made business strategist, political commentator and political visionary who has partnered with CEOs, executives, and solopreneurs to grow their personal and professional brands, human-to-human, team-to-team.
He attributes his humble beginnings of living in Section 8 (Housing Choice Voucher Program) with his mother and sister as his motivation to achieve success, not only for himself but for all ambitious Americans. As a result of the lack of school choice, Darius brings this matter to the forefront of his campaign; willing to make a change in the education system that benefits the student, rather than the machine. Thusly, he entered the auto industry at age 17, became the youngest sales manager of a Top 25 US auto group, and became the first black general manager in the third fastest growing auto group in the US for 2019.
A proponent of lowering taxes, property and business, Darius’ conservative values ring true in his belief of accountability, success through hard work, family foundations, and having strong ties to the community. As the Chief Executive Officer of Marvel US Management, a boutique strategy and marketing firm, Darius has managed talent who has gone onto being signed with major music labels, featured in blockbuster films, changed the real estate technology dichotomy, partnered with innovative, inclusive, and diverse startups and established companies alike, to move the conversation forward in fashion, business, and the nonprofit sector. In addition to his extensive business and political experience, Darius’s philanthropic endeavors have seen him cofound Heart A Cause, an event series dedicated to annual marketing and fundraising efforts for local organizations with causes close to his heart and American Cleanup, a volunteer community effort cleaning up underserved neighborhoods, one at a time, across America and has also partnered with personal tax service giant, H&R Block for the rollout of a multi-state fundraising and food bank donation partnership with the Salvation Army.
Darius has received a multitude of awards including Google 5-Star Rated Dealership, Generation Best Sales Manager for Outstanding Performance and was a Chief Marketer of the Future Nominee. Darius has been featured on CNN, Comedy Central, Fox News, Fox Sports, HGTV, BET, Gateway Pundit, Newsmax, local news outlets and political junkets and roundtables with Senator Ted Cruz, esteemed lawyer, Anthony Pope, Conservative commentator/strategist Rich Valdes and Republican strategist, John Burnett.
